If you are a North Fork business, please stay open from 5-7 on Halloween and allow kids to trick or treat at your business.

Business owners who don’t have shops on main street are welcome to park and give out candy from their trunk, in good old trunk or treat fashion, and advertise their businesses!

Parents are also welcome to join in with their cars, or simply walk around with your kids! All are welcome!

We hope to see a lot of you there!!!

CDC Community Meeting

Sep 13 2016
nf_mnts
The North Fork Community Development Council (CDC) has reached a major milestone. The old mill site subdivision has been completed and approved by the County. The CDC is now entering a phase of development. Parcels are now available for sale to businesses and some parcels for residential development. The road to get to this point was very long (15+ years) and involved a lot of planning, grants, volunteerism and hard work.

The CDC Board of Directors would like to solicit your input on what the council should focus on for the next 5-10 years. From 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday September 26, the CDC will hold a community meeting and YOU ARE INVITED! At the meeting everyone will be encouraged to contribute their ideas.

We will divide the attendees (including board members) into small groups. These groups will develop ideas responding to the following questions:
  • What can the CDC do to improve life in North Fork?
  • How can we improve downtown?
  • How can we support the town’s nonprofit organizations?
  • What is needed to support North Fork’s youth?
When:  Monday September 26 at 6:00 PM
What:   Snacks served at 6:00, meeting from 6:30-8:00 PM
Where: Rancheria Community Center (on top of the hill)
Who:    YOU! Please spread the word as widely as possible!

The CDC’s board meeting will be held in the same room from 5:00-6:00. The public is welcome to observe any and all CDC Board meetings.
